To reduce the burden of cancer through awareness campaigns, community outreach, patient support services, research partnerships, and policy advocacy.
CORE OBJECTIVES
1.Awareness & Education – Conducting campaigns, seminars, and media outreach to dispel myths, promote healthy lifestyles, and encourage regular screening.
2.Early Detection & Screening – Facilitating affordable or free cancer screening programs in underserved communities.
3.Patient Support – Providing financial, emotional, and psychosocial support to patients and their families.
4.Capacity Building – Training healthcare workers, volunteers, and community leaders on cancer prevention and care.
5.Advocacy & Policy Engagement – Working with government and stakeholders to influence policies for better cancer control and treatment accessibility.
6.Research & Collaboration – Partnering with local and international bodies to support cancer research and innovative interventions.

•Annual Cancer Awareness Walk/Run and other sporting events
•Screening and Early Detection Clinics (Breast, Cervical, Prostate, and Childhood Cancers)

•Advocacy Campaigns during World Cancer Day, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, etc.
In Memory of Kangyang Dachomo
Kangyang Dachomo was born on 10th January 1982. From an early age, she was known for her bright mind, calm disposition, and a deep sense of responsibility toward family and community.
She pursued her education with diligence and later gained admission into Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, where she studied Economics. Her years at ABU shaped her intellectual growth and prepared her for a life of service, professionalism, and impact.
Kangyang lived a life guided by hard work, humility, and kindness. Those who knew her remember her generosity, her willingness to help others, and her unwavering commitment to personal growth and excellence.
Sadly, her journey on earth came to an end on 24th February 2022, at the age of 40 after a battle with Breast Cancer
Though her life was cut short, her legacy lives on in the hearts of family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her.
Kangyang Dachomo will be remembered as a daughter , Sister , friend, and graduate of distinction, who touched lives with quiet strength and left behind cherished memories.
